Monday, November 13, was doughnuts for dads.  It was a great success.  We had lots of dads and important male figures here.  Not only did they have a good time but there were prizes of OSU basketball tickets and gift cards given out.

All students MUST be in appropriate dress code.  There are NO hoodies, bandanas, jeans, and leggings worn in class.  If you child is cold, he/she will need to wear long sleeves under their collared shirt or a wear a sweatshirt (AIMS, black, white, or black/white) AIMS t-shirts that were purchased can only be worn on Fridays.

We are proud of our students for donating supplies and money to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  The National Junior Honor Society students collected the donations and helped organize them to send out.

Congratulations to sixth grader Serenity Edwards who was recognized this pass Wednesday in the Ohio Senate session along with her brother Antonio for being kid inventors in the Invention Convention program from elementary school.  Wednesday was national Kid Inventor Day.  Serenity and her brother were able to talk to Senator Tavares and take a picture with him. What an exciting day.  Congratulations to our inventor.

Sydney was very nervous but excited to be the guest conductor for the Messiah sing along at the Southern Theater.  There were 700 people present.  She did an amazing job and not only received many compliments she gave AIMS a shout out.
