Shanden is probably dog tired today.  He had and amazing weekend shooting for a short film/web series called "The Wicked Imagination of a Teenage Kid!"  The director absolutely loved him and he earned a dance spot.  Our Newest star

New Procedures for signing at the office.  For the security of the staff and students of CCS schools a new system is in place that scans the license or ID and print out a sticker that visitors will wear in the building.  Please see the letter from safety and security for complete details.

Orchestra/Band concert is Tuesday 12/12

1. The 8th grade trip link will be active until Friday

2.  Boys basketball is Monday

3. Girls basketball is Wednesday

4. PARENTS please make sure that your child is following all expectations given by his/her bus driver.

Congratulations to all the first quarter honor roll and perfect attendance students.  We are proud of your efforts.  Congratulations to Jalen Leavell and Isiah Wilkins for their perfect attendence.

Muffins with Moms was a huge success!  Thank you to all the women who can out to support their students.

Monday, November 13, was doughnuts for dads.  It was a great success.  We had lots of dads and important male figures here.  Not only did they have a good time but there were prizes of OSU basketball tickets and gift cards given out.  

We are looking forward to Muffins with moms in December.

1. No school Tuesday due to Professional Development day.

2. Boys and Girls basketball practice after school this week.

3. Parent/Teacher conferences on November 9th from 3:00-6:30 Please make sure you sign up for a conference.  The next conference night is Tuesday 11-14 again please sign up.

 All students MUST be in appropriate dress code.  There are NO hoodies, bandanas, jeans, and leggings worn in class.  If you child is cold, he/she will need to wear long sleeves under their collared shirt or a wear a sweatshirt (AIMS, black, white, or black/white) AIMS t-shirts that were purchased can only be worn on Fridays.

 

 

 

We are proud of our students for donating supplies and money to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  The National Junior Honor Society students collected the donations and helped organize them to send out.

Sydney was very nervous but excited to be the guest conductor for the Messiah sing along at the Southern Theater.  There were 700 people present.  She did an amazing job and not only received many compliments she gave AIMS a shout out.
